GREAT FALLS – Mrs. Nina Joyce Pittman Bell, 64, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Roberts officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls.
Mrs. Bell was born Dec. 17, 1949, in Chesterfield County and was a daughter of Dorothy Meadows Pittman and the late Fred C. Pittman. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School, was retired from Haddon House and was former co-owner and operator of Bell's Service Station. Mrs. Bell was a member of Mitford Baptist, where she was a former Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Rusty Bell and wife Belinda of Great Falls and Michael Bell and wife Melanie of Lancaster; her mother, Dorothy M. Pittman of Great Falls; grandchildren, Clyde Sneed and Jaboha Sneed of Mt. Olive, N.C., Jenna Miller, Caylen Miller and Hannah Bell, all of Lancaster, and Blake Price, Jeremy Burtnette, Michael Hipp and William Hipp, all of Great Falls; two great- grandchildren, Ashlynn Sneed and Colton Davis, both of Mt. Olive, N.C.; two brothers, Paul Pittman of Huntsville, Ala. and Ronnie Pittman of Dallas, N.C.; and one sister, Evon Jackson and husband Charles of Lugoff, S.C.
Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband of more than 41 years, Carl Daniel Bell; one brother, Fred; and two sisters, Barbara and Eva.
