Son of the late Robert Henry Bagwell and Alice Minor Bagwell, he was a retired truck driver of Southeastern Freight Company. He was a member of Whistleville Christian Church. He was survived by his wife, Barbara Bagwell; sons, Rocky Bagwell, James Bagwell, Keith Bagwell, Weymon Bagwell and Marvin Bagwell; daughters, Stacy Worley, Denice Lowery, Tina Eddison and Pam Timmons; and an exttended family of grandchildren and other relatives. His graveside funeral was held on January 30, 2014, with The Rev. Russell Page officiating.
