Charles Quick, Age 75 of Morris, AL passed away on Sunday, January 26th, 2014. He retired from the City of Birmingham Parks and Recreation Department as Stadium Supervisor of Legion Field with over 40 years of service. Charles was a loving husband, father, and Paw Paw who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Melba Quick, his two daughters, Kelly Quick and Karla Sims; a son, Christopher Quick (Amy); brother, Larry Quick (Wynonna); sisters, Marian Phillips (Jim) and Sylvia Young (Jimmy); grandchildren, Alexandra Austin, James Quick, Michael Lyons, Lauralee Sims, Libby Quick, Caroline Quick, and Sarah Quick; and a great grandson, Oliver Quick. Services will be Wednesday, January 29th, at 2 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale.
