Funeral services for Hiram Tidmore, 79, of Kaufman are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Dr. Freddy Pendleton officiating.

Interment at College Mound Cemetery near Terrell.

He passed away early Monday morning, January 27, 2014, in Rowlett.

Hiram was born February 12, 1934, in Murchison, Texas, the son of James Iranus Tidmore and Lena Jane West Tidmore.
He was raised in Plano.

On May 26, 1960, he married Dorothy Ann Bandsma. Hiram was self-employed as a private duty nurse in the Dallas area, retiring in 2006. He enjoyed farming, gardening, cooking and raising cows.
For the past fifty-three years, Hiram had lived in Kaufman, where he was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Tidmore and two sisters, Della Shelton and Ozell Allen.

Hiram is survived by his wife, Dorothy Tidmore, of Kaufman; son, Hiram Tidmore, II & wife, Teresa, of Terrell; daughter, Kathy Tidmore, of Garland and his beloved pet, Foxie.

Pallbearers: Thomas Jackson, Timothy Bandsma, Andrew Leath, Jason Leath, Jim Hayes and Joe Baker.

Honorary pallbearer: Gene Leath and Silas Kennemer
