Andrew J. Annette, 41, of Bemidji died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002 at North Country Regional Hospital in Bemidji. The funeral will be at Breck Episcopal Church in Ponsford. Burial will take place at Breck Episcopal Church Cemetery.

He was born Aug. 13, 1961 to Eleanor (Big Bear) and William Annette in Bagley. He grew up and went to school in Red Lake. He attended the Red Wing VoTech and also studied at Bemidji State University. He shared his life with Laurie Jackson for more than 14 years. He worked at the Northwestern Juvenile Training Center as a counselor for seven years. He liked to golf, attend pow-wows, play his guitar and go the casinos. He is survived by daughters Shannon, Drew and Trina, all of Bemidji, a son, William of Bemidji, his mother, sisters Dr. Kathleen Annette, Helena Gerhardson and Billie Annette-Parker, all of Bemidji, as well as his grandmother, aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents and an aunt. (Bemidji Pioneer Dec. 27, 2002)
