Obit: MARY MARGARET MORRIS:

Mary Margaret Morris, oldest daughter of Richard and Susan Alice Howdeshell Morris, was born Nov. 20, 1882, and passed away at the family home where she had spent her entire life, Friday morning Feb. 2, 1951. She was one of seven children. Her mother, father and three sisters preceded her in death. Those surviving are two sisters, Pearl and Ruby of the home; and one brother Willie Morris of St Charles, Mo. Also surviving are an aged aunt, Mrs Tom (Howdeshell) Morris, one sister-in-law, Grace Morris, two nieces, three nephews, two great-nieces, and three great-nephews. At the age of 14, she was converted; and united with the Mill Creek Baptist Church under the preaching of Rev E. J. Sanderson. She loved her Church and was a faithful member as long as health permitted. She was greatly loved and respected by her family and a host of friends and neighbors. Her faithful and unselfish life is an example for us who miss her, to follow. Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev A. N. Wilkinson and burial was in the Mill Creek Cemetery.
