Louise L. Gibson, 82, formerly of Williamsport, entered into rest at 8:55 a.m., Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont, where she had been a resident since November 2013.

She was born March 6, 1931, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Chester and Kathryn (Koch) Losell.

On May 10, 1951, in Winchester, Va., she married John Thomas Gibson, who preceded her in death in 1997.

Louise was a member of the Third Street United Methodist Church, Williamsport.

Surviving are one daughter, Sherry Andrewsen and her fiance, Terry Long, of 1640 Swengel Road, Mifflinburg; one son, John M. Gibson;

three brothers and two sisters-in-law, George Losell, of Williamsport, Ronald and Sandy Losell, of Dillsburg, and Charles and Linda Losell, of Williamsport; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Barb Miller, of Warrensville, and Judy and Dave Conklin, of Montoursville; one sister-in-law, Yvonne Losell, of Las Vegas, Nev.

Two grandchildren, Christine and Carrie; two step-grandchildren, Kristy Phillips and Jason Long; three great-grandchildren; three nieces; and six nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Shirley Losell and two nephews, David Losell and Richard Losell.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ricky Phillips, officiating.

Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport.
