"Nathan Earl Durham was born to the late Clarence Durham and Winnie Undean Coleman in April 1928 in Coleman County. He graduated from Coleman High School and attended Tarleton State University. He later married Jimmie Evelyn Kitchens in Coleman, Texas.
"Mr. Durham lived most of his life in Coleman County and worked as auto mechanic in the area. He was member of the Central Baptist Church and the Concho Baptist Church.
"Mr. Durham is survived by his wife, Jimmie of Coleman; two sons, Larry Wayne Durham of Coleman and Michael Dean Durham and wife, Della, of Abilene; one brother, Archie Durham of Coleman; one sister, Judy Ryder of Coleman; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
"He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Alta Haynes."
