On September 19, 1979, Debra was united in marriage to Morris Lynn. He survives her passing.
Debra deeply cherished and enjoyed her job at Callaway County Jail as sergeant. She most enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, talking to them on the phone, and always being there for them. She could often be found sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee or Pepsi talking with friends and family. She enjoyed baking pumpkin pies for her late "Baby Boy" Tim and pecan pies for her oldest son Mark. She looked forward to her daily talks with her daughter, Tammy and enjoyed spending holidays and family dinners at daughter Tina's house She loved taking pictres of all her grandkids and showing them off. She liked country music especially Alan Jackson and George Strait. She often watched chick flicks especially Fried Green Tomatoes and the Note Book.
Remaining to forever cherished Debra's memory are her husband of 43 years, Morris, mother, Mary Harris of Detriot Mi.son, Mark Lynn of Tampa FL. daughters, Tina Arnold (Jerry) of Millersburg, and Tammy Newburn(Tyrone) of Springfield Mo. brothers, Earl and Jess Brown of the Dwtroit area. sister, Sheila Shovan of the Detroit Area. grandchildren, Nadine, Matthew, Nick,(Molly) Mattie, Wayne, Desiree, Deandra, T.J. Taylor, Tyler and Trinnity a five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Timothy Lynn..
Memorial services will be held at 7p.m. on Thursday January 30, 2014 at Maupin Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Williamsn officiating. The family will receive friends from 5p.m. until the time of service.
Debra's family suggests donation be made in her name to the Coalition Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARD-V) c/o Maupin Funeral Home 301 Douglas Blvd Fulton, Mo. 65251
