Katherine Jo Ann Abernathy of Madisonville passed away 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014 at East Tennessee Health Care. She was a member of 411 Baptist Church.
She was 71.
Preceded in death by: husband, Homer Abernathy and parents, Esrom and Nina Lee.
Daughter and son-in-law, Shonna and Darrell Harris;
Son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Denise Atkins, all of Englewood;
Grandchildren, Clancey Harris, Cassie Dmitriev, Chase Atkins, C.J. Atkins, Brittany and Brianna Atkins;
Great-grandchild, Madison Harris;
Sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and George Beaty, Betty and Roy Turpin;
Several nieces and nephews;
Stepchildren, Charles Abernathy and Mary Ann Fekete;
Several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at 411 Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to 411 Chapel Baptist Church building fund.
