YORK Donna J. Eppley, 61, died Friday, December 17, 2010, at 5:20 p.m. at the York Hospital. There will be no viewing. Following cremation, there will be a visitation Tuesday from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. at Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 849 E. Market St., York. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Dr. E. Gordon Ross, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church in Stewartstown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Miss Eppley was born November 18, 1949, in York. She was a daughter of Eugene E. and Dorothy J. (Jones) Eppley. Miss Eppley was a traffic dispatcher with American Color Graphics/Vertis for 12 years. She was a graduate of Central York High School, Class of 1967 and a member of the Ladies Auxillary of Shiloh American Legion Post # 791. She was an umpire for 20+ years for the ASSA, a softball league for men. Survivors include: one sister, Jacqueline E. Lichty of York; one brother, Ricky L. Eppley and his wife, Debra of Wrightsville; two nieces, Kristen and Jessica and one nephew, Kent.
