Kathleen Owens 81 of Middletown passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014 at her residence. She was born on November 2, 1932 in Letcher Co., Kentucky to Virgil & Carrie (Back) Roberts.
Kathleen was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Debby (Bob) Turner; her grandchildren, Brian (Andrea) Turner and Melissa (Brad) Riegert; her great-grandchildren, Julia, Ashtyn, Max, Sam and Eden; her sisters, Virginia Turner & Patricia Gayheart; her brothers, Bob, James, JC and Carl Roberts and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Billy R. Owens and her son, Billy R. Owens Jr.
The family would like to express a special "Thank you" to Hospice Care of Middletown and her caregivers, Karen Dorf, Shelly Martin, Marilyn Cotter, Debbie Montgomery and Emily Eich.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 6-8:00 pm at the Grace Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life Service also at the church on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Max Fernandez officiating. Interment will be in Grace Memorial Gardens.
