The first son of Edwin S. and Enrie J. (Hamilton) Fee, Burritt grew up learning the value of Decatur Co., IN agriculture from his father. Following his education in Decatur Co. schools, Burritt attended Berea College in KY.
He established his own farm and became successful as a productive cattle feeder in the Clarksburg, IN area. He was an active member of the Clarksburg Presbyterian Church and the Greensburg lodge of the B.P.O.E. Burritt never married.
Mr. Fee died of a bladder obstruction resulting from a carcinoma, in St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. The informant on his burial record was his nephew, Robert H. Fee.
