In Memory of a Little Baby.
John Stewart Humphrey, youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Humphrey, was born Sept. 23, 1916, and departed this life June 28, 1918, aged one year, nine months and five days, after an illness of a few weeks with bronchial trouble. He bore his sufferings patiently until God called him home to dwell with Him. A mother, father, brother and relatives and friends mourn their loss. The little casket was covered with beautiful flowers, proof of loving sympathy of friends. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Gear and the little body was laid to rest in Springdale cemetery.
Heavenly father, guide us ever,
Till our spirits cease to roam.
Then we'll meet our babe in Heaven,
Where we know as we are known.
