HARTSGROVE TOWNSHIP — Gerald Lawrence Baird, age 81, died on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Briar Hill Health Care Residence.
He was born Sept. 14, 1932, the son of A. Reed and Vera Ann (Minter) Baird in Fulton, Ind. Gerald was married to Eileen Weber Baird on Dec. 7, 1997.
Gerald was employed with Uniroyal Chemical as a Welder for 33 years. He was a 50-year member and past Master of the Hartsgrove Masonic Loge No. 397 and a member of Windsor United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen; children, Gary (Sharon) Baird, David (Bonnie) Baird and Susan (Jeremy) DeWitte; siblings, Norma Popovic, Geraldine Petree, Artis Baughman, Marjorie Caldwell, Judith Teel-Green and Terry Baird; and grandchildren, Gerald, Halle, Katlyn, Phillip, Benjamin and Adrienne.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Charleen Potter Baird on June 30, 1996; son, Jeffrey; and a brother, Duane Baird.
A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Laurie Evinsky will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30th, at 10 a.m., at PAINE FUNERAL HOME INC., 140 E. Main St., Orwell, Ohio. Burial will follow at the Hartsgrove North Cemetery.
Calling Hours will held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 29th, from 5 to 7 p.m., with a Masonic Service held at 6:45 p.m.

HARTSGROVE TOWNSHIP — Gerald Lawrence Baird, age 81, died on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Briar Hill Health Care Residence.
He was born Sept. 14, 1932, the son of A. Reed and Vera Ann (Minter) Baird in Fulton, Ind. Gerald was married to Eileen Weber Baird on Dec. 7, 1997.
Gerald was employed with Uniroyal Chemical as a Welder for 33 years. He was a 50-year member and past Master of the Hartsgrove Masonic Loge No. 397 and a member of Windsor United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen; children, Gary (Sharon) Baird, David (Bonnie) Baird and Susan (Jeremy) DeWitte; siblings, Norma Popovic, Geraldine Petree, Artis Baughman, Marjorie Caldwell, Judith Teel-Green and Terry Baird; and grandchildren, Gerald, Halle, Katlyn, Phillip, Benjamin and Adrienne.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Charleen Potter Baird on June 30, 1996; son, Jeffrey; and a brother, Duane Baird.
A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Laurie Evinsky will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30th, at 10 a.m., at PAINE FUNERAL HOME INC., 140 E. Main St., Orwell, Ohio. Burial will follow at the Hartsgrove North Cemetery.
Calling Hours will held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 29th, from 5 to 7 p.m., with a Masonic Service held at 6:45 p.m.

HARTSGROVE TOWNSHIP — Gerald Lawrence Baird, age 81, died on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Briar Hill Health Care Residence.
He was born Sept. 14, 1932, the son of A. Reed and Vera Ann (Minter) Baird in Fulton, Ind. Gerald was married to Eileen Weber Baird on Dec. 7, 1997.
Gerald was employed with Uniroyal Chemical as a Welder for 33 years. He was a 50-year member and past Master of the Hartsgrove Masonic Loge No. 397 and a member of Windsor United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen; children, Gary (Sharon) Baird, David (Bonnie) Baird and Susan (Jeremy) DeWitte; siblings, Norma Popovic, Geraldine Petree, Artis Baughman, Marjorie Caldwell, Judith Teel-Green and Terry Baird; and grandchildren, Gerald, Halle, Katlyn, Phillip, Benjamin and Adrienne.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Charleen Potter Baird on June 30, 1996; son, Jeffrey; and a brother, Duane Baird.
A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Laurie Evinsky will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30th, at 10 a.m., at PAINE FUNERAL HOME INC., 140 E. Main St., Orwell, Ohio. Burial will follow at the Hartsgrove North Cemetery.
Calling Hours will held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 29th, from 5 to 7 p.m., with a Masonic Service held at 6:45 p.m.
