Death of Thomas Coulehan
Last evening at 7:49 o’clock Thomas Coulehan died at the residence of his father, Judge John Coulehan, on North Mechanic street, in his 29th year. The deceased has been a sufferer from consumption for the past year, but only gave up to the disease a few months ago, having been a bookkeeper for R. Lichtenstein, a wholesale liquor dealer of this city. For many years, he was connected with T. L. Coulehan in the grocery business on Baltimore street, and at one time clerked at the St. James hotel in Pittsburg. Mr. Coulehan was very popular in this city, having gentle manners, a kind heart and an enviable disposition, and throughout his sickness he was patient and uncomplaining, greeting the friends who visited him with a cordial smile. The arrangements for the funeral have not yet been made, but it will take place sometime tomorrow afternoon.
