William "Bill" Reid, Jr. 58, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at OakCrest Funeral Home, with Dr. Craig Klempnauer officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Bill was born May 27, 1955 in Waco to William and Mildred Hommel Reid. He graduated from Richfield High School in 1973. During his journey, he was a manager at Greyhound Bus Lines and ended his career at Ridgewood Country Club. Bill had many interests such as his Mustangs, muscle cars, music, Texas Rangers baseball, and he loved making people smile and laugh. He had three loves in his life, his daughter, Kristi "Rabbit", his mother and his weenie dog, Fritz.
Bill cherished the time he spent with his brother, Gary, who was always doing things for him. He left behind several wonderful best friends that he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his father, William T. Reid, Sr.
Survivors include his daughter, Kristi Reid of Spring, TX; his mother, Mildred Reid of Waco; his brother, Gary Reid and wife Carolyn, of Waco; and his sister, Linda Reid of Harker Heights.
