Services for Kimberly Ann (Ponce) Mackey, 48, of Milo will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at Milo Baptist Church, with Bro. Mike Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Milo Cemetery.


Kimberly was born Sept. 1, 1965, to Raymon and Barbara Morales Ponce in Santa Paula, Calif. She departed from this life on Jan. 21, 2014, at her home in Milo.


Kimberly was raised and attended school in Fillmore, Calif. During her senior year of high school, she married Kenneth Paul Mackey on Dec. 26, 1982, in Fillmore. Due to Kenneth's work, they lived in several towns in California before moving to Milo in 1993 where she lived the remainder of her life.


Kimberly was employed as a nurse's aide and a bookkeeper for CCRC before retiring in 2002 due to her health. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and a member of the Milo Baptist Church.


She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Nikomi Mackey.


She is survived by her husband of the home; two sons, C.J. Mackey, Ada, and Phillip Towbar, Arkansas; one daughter, Brianna Parker, Ardmore; two brothers, Anthony Ponce, Fillmore, Calif., and Jonathan Ponce, Tacoma, Wash.; three sisters, Jodi Colson, Piru, Calif., Stephanie Ponce, Bakersfield, Calif., and April Thompson, Fillmore, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild and one on the way.


Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
