Obituary Kirk Martin
Kirk Andrew Martin, age 51, passed away unexpectedly, on December 6, 2011, while engaged in one of his favorite activities, Tuesday night pick-up hockey. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn C. (Sinclair) and the devoted father of Carly, Amy, and Brooke all of Bedford. He is also survived by his dear mother, Jan Martin of Stuart, FL, siblings, Richard Martin and his wife, Jackie of Chestnut Hill, Debbi DeLuca and her husband, John of Ashland, Nancy Danner of Florida, and Jackie Rasmussen and her husband, Brian of Illinois; he was a special uncle to many nieces and nephews, and son-in-law of Mary Sinclair Szalajeski, of Lexington and brother-in-law of Lisa Sinclair and Edward F. Burke, Jr. of Natick, Mark and Marlisse of Overland Park, KS. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Martin. Mr. Martin was born in Concord on June 6, 1960 and was raised in Wayland. He lived in Wakefield before moving to Bedford with his wife and children in 1998. He was a former employee of Ceridian of Wakefield and most recently was employed as a network administrator with Financial Information Systems. He also was a popular server at Caf Luigi in Bedford for many years. Mr. Martin was a member of St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Bedford. He loved cooking, hockey, football and coaching youth basketball, however, his greatest love was being a husband, father, son, brother and friend. Paddy the family dog, he recently coached to his first canine turkey trot win. His funeral service was held at St. Pauls Episcopal Church, Bedford, Mon., Dec. 12. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the girls college fund, Fidelity Investments, P.O. Box 770001, Cincinnati, OH 45277-00 Acct. # 618580325
