Beverly Sue Moss of rural Portageville was born March 12, 1957, in Kennett, Mo. She passed from this life Jan. 25, 2014, at her home in Portageville. She was 56 years, 10 months and 13 days of age.
Beverly was a homemaker and loved to take care of family and friends.
She was the daughter of Dorsie Algine Bulderback Walker and the late Pinkney Bedford "Bud" Walker.
She leaves the following to cherish her memory: her daughter, Karen Cole of Murray, Ky.; her son, Jearmy Moss of Portageville; her mother, Dorsie Walker of Hayti; her sisters, Carol Glass and her husband, Danny, of Wardell, Pam Walker of Hayti, Sheila Creasy and her husband, Gary, of Wardell, and Sherry Moss and her husband, Claude, of Pascola; her brothers, Jimmy Walker of Hayti and Terry Walker of Portageville; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, in the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti, with Bro. James McCulloch officiating. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti. Pallbearers were Robert Everett, Terry Wells, Chad Moss, Claude Moss, William Mayberry and Christopher Garner.
