WILLARD — Rev. Fred H. Rowe (76) of Willard went to be with Jesus on January 25, 2014 at his home. Fred was born July 21, 1937 in Salyersville, Ky to the late Clark and Tressie (Back) Rowe. He was a Willard area resident most of his life. He was the founder and Pastor of the Faith Builders Church of God in Willard.
Fred worked at Faulhaber Company for 10 years then Mayflower Vehicle in Norwalk for 33 Ω years where he retired.
Fred loved to be outside more than anything else. His favorite things were hunting, fishing and camping with his family. He also had a special love for his church family. Fred had a heart of gold who wanted to make everyone around him happy. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 57 years: Betty Lou (Kilgore) Rowe whom he married January 12, 1957. Sons: Randy (Lora) Rowe of Norwalk, Steve (Michelle) Rowe of Plymouth, Pastor Fred (Sharon) Rowe Jr. of Willard and daughter: Karen (Aaron) Kerby of Willard. 11 Grandchildren: Jason (Glenda) Rowe, Brian (Heather) Patrick, Shawn (Courtney) Patrick, Traven (Kristi) Rowe, Jeremy (Tasha) Rowe, Tony (Kellie) Rowe, Robert (Lindsay) Rowe, Tonya (Tommy) Eaton, Nick (Crissy) Rowe, Steven (Skylar) Rowe, who is currently serving in the US Army, and Dylan Rowe. 7 step grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Sister in law: Lucille (Woodroe) Barnett, Brother in Laws: Kizer Kilgore of Willard, James Kilgore of Norwalk and Billy Kilgore of Willard. He was preceded by his parents, son: Ricky Lee Rowe and grandson: Nathan Rowe.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00A.M. Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Faith Builders Church of God on Main Street, Willard with Jr. Pastor Fred Rowe and Rev. Dave Clair officiating. Friends may call Tuesday 2:00 pm-10:00 pm at the church. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Willard.
