Elizabeth Jane Webb was the wife of the Reverend Joseph Newton Buzza, whom she married on 1 Sep 1864 in Liskeard, Cornwall, England. She immigrated to the United States in 1868 along with her husband and his extended family on the sailing ship "Virginia" departing Liverpool, England on 1 Oct 1868 and landing in New York on 22 Oct 1868. The family first lived in New Virginia, Mercer, Pennsylvania, then moved to Ashland Township in Clarion County, Pennsylvania. Rev. Joseph Newton Buzza was pastor of Trinity United Evangelical Church of Fern. He and his wife raised 11 children of their own (William John Buzza, Emily Jane Buzza, Mary Elizabeth Buzza, Amelia Ellen Buzza, Frederick Herbert Buzza, Catharine Matilda Buzza, Lauretta Geneveve Buzza, Joseph Richard Buzza, Grace Almeda Buzza, Frances Newton Buzza and Clara Isabel Buzza) as well as two Webb boys, Samuel and George, and a George Buzza (of Youngstown, Ohio).
