F. Jack Burton "Eternal Sweetheart"
6/6/38 - 8/7/04

Our darling husband, father, brother and uncle passed away August 7, 2004. Jack fought a valiant battle with cancer. He displayed great courage and dignity through to the end.

Jack was born June 6, 1938 in Evanston, Wyoming to Violet Steadman Burton and Franklin S. Burton. He was the youngest of four children. Jack grew up in Sandy, Utah.

On October 27, 1960 Jack married his sweetheart, Corrine Archuleta. Jack was a devoted and loving husband. Corrine and Jack were like peas and carrots - you couldn't think of one without the other. They are the parents of two sons, Scott (deceased) and Warren.

Jack began working at a young age. He retired from Kennecott as a Master Electrician and then was the Owner/Operator of Jack Burton Enterprises, a sand and gravel business. Jack was a hard worker, an honest man who never met a stranger. He only knew friends.

Jack is survived by his wife, Corrine of 44 years; his son Warren; his sister Verla, many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews who dearly loved him.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 19, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. at the Draper 17th Ward, 1625 East 12700 South.
