Son of the late Andy and Betsy Shelton Ross; widower of Stella Holden Ross.

Veteran of the US Air Force.

He retired from Saco Lowell and was a longtime member of Winding Creek Baptist Church.

Survived by a stepdaughter; a daughter; two stepsons; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grand- children; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by a son, Steve Ross, and two stepsons, Yank and Johnny Whitaker.

Funeral services: Wednesday, January 29, 2014, Eastside Baptist Church.

Burial: Liberty Memorial Gardens.

Liberty Mortuary.
