Mr. Lewis graduated from Crockett County High School and attended Jackson State Community College earning his E.M.T. - I.V. He was employed with the Crockett County Ambulance Authority for nine years and worked at Heritage Medical Center in Shelbyville, Tennessee until 2012.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014, at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Bells, Tennessee. Funeral services will be at 1:30 P.M., Sunday, January 26, 2014, in the Chapel of Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Bells, Tennessee, officiated by Rev. Dennis Davis. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Bells, Tennessee.
Survivors include his parents, Sam and Jo Carolyn Lewis; a sister, Leigh Lewis Butler (Wes); and two nephews, Wesley and Lewis Butler.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tolbert and Laverne Lewis and Joe and Dora Sherrod.
