JANESVILLE - Lawrence "Butch" W. Schultz, age 80, of 102 N. River St., died Mon., April 15, 1996 at Rock Haven. He was born June 8, 1915 to Herman and Anna (Benash) Schultz in Fulton Township, WI. He married Rosina M. Stubbe Sept. 29, 1934. He was in the U.S. Army. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed doing yard work and working on small engines.

He is survived by his wife, Rosina of Janesville; 2 sons, John "Jack" (Donna Schultz of Cambridge and Wallace (Judy) Schultz of Edgerton; 5 daughters: Barbara Moses and Doris Schroeder, both of Edgerton, Betty (Art) Kettle and Darlene Jacobson, both of Janesville, and Shirley (Tom) Hume of Orfordville; 2 sisters, Isabelle Klementz and Alberta (George) Crichton, both of Janesville; 5 brothers: Malcolm Schultz of Edgerton. Arnold Schultz of Elkhorn, Floyd Schultz, Carl Schultz and Robert Schultz, all of Janesville; 22 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sons, Ronald on Nov. 17, 1971, and Eugene on April 17, 1986. Also several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Thurs., April 18, 1996 at 1:00 p.m. at Overton Funeral Home, Janesville, with Rev. Dean Pittelko officiating. Interment will follow in Milton Lawns Memorial Park.
