Jimmie Lindsey
Jimmie Lee (Baber) Lindsey, 82, of Campbell went to be with the Lord on Jan. 24, 2014, at Oak Manor Nursing Home in Commerce.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Brigham Cemetery, with Rev. Isaac Chaffin officiating. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born Aug. 31, 1931, in Celeste, Jimmie was the daughter of James A. and Ona Lee (Baker) Baber. On Nov. 30, 1949, in Pike, she married Kenneth E. Lindsey, and they enjoyed 61 beautiful years together before his death in 2011.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Campbell. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years and co-owner of K Bar J Ouarterhorses with her husband.
Survivors include her daughters Barbara Lindsey Skeen and Melissa Lollar and husband, Justin; grandchildren Maranda Irwin and husband Jason, Lindsey Icenhower, Kenneth Busby and Kjerstie Busby; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by parents and three sisters.
