LIFETIME NEVADA RESIDENT DIES
Lifelong resident of Nevada, George L. Brown, died Thursday at a local hospital after a long illness. The funeral will be held at Saint Thomas Aquinas Cathedral followed by burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.
Mr. Brown was born in Gold Hill 68 years ago. He received his education in the schools of that town and for many years worked in the mines of the Comstock district. He was a member of Comstock Aerie of Eagles.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Katy Leavy of Sparks and Mrs. Julie Shackelton of Oakland, California.
