Gilford - Jason F. Nichols, 44, of 175 Weirs Road, died in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday, January 4, 2014. Jason was born May 9, 1969 in Phoenix, Arizona, the son of William Nichols and Joanna (Belair) Snow. He was pre-deceased by his Dad, George Snow, in 2006.
Jason had lived in Gilford for many years before returning to Tucson, Arizona. Among the many things close to Jason's heart was his love of fishing, gardening, Hockey, the outdoors and, above all, his love for his friends and family. Jason's sincere compassion for all that crossed his path will long be remembered. Jason's one true love in life was Ruby, a wonderful Chocolate Lab.
Jason is survived by his mother, Joanna N. Snow, of Gilford. N.H.; his father, William Nichols, of Tucson, Arizona; His aunt Jane Belair of New Rochelle New York ; two sisters, Hether Gauvin of Orlando, Florida and Heidi Corriveau of Dover NH; two brothers, Christopher Snow of Raymond, N.H. and Joshua Nichols of Wrentham, Mass.; two nieces, Joslyn and Lillian Snow; and long-time companion Deborah Vaughn.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on January 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Andre Bessette Parish at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, N.H.
Jason will be returned to the earth this spring on his birthday in the family plot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.
