Arlington - Zona Elva Ray, 71, died Monday, January 15, 1979 at Kingman County Hospital following a long illness. Born Zona Elva Pike September 5, 1907 at Partridge in Reno County. She married Jack A. Ray December 8, 1960 at Scott City.
She lived in Arlington since 1949 and was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors: widower; brothers; Oscar Pike, Alva Pike, both of Hopewell; Roland Pike of Arlington; sisters: Mrs. Belle Giles, Hopewell; Mrs. Josephine Giles, Partridge; Mrs. Alvessie Baty, Mound Valley; Mrs. Mary Sims, Arlington.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Jim Busch presiding. Burial in Partridge Cemetery. Friends may call 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Chapel.
