AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Ruth E. Miller, 84, wife of the late Eugene Ray Miller, entered into rest Friday, January 25, 2014. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at 3:30 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Keith Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Miller, daughter of the late Valentine and Ethel Lambert Woods, was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She is survived by her sons, Jonny Miller, of Camden, SC, Paul Miller, of Minneapolis, MN, and Jamin Miller, of Clarksville, TN; her daughter, Amy Pollock, of Martinez; her brother, Harold Woods, of California; her grandchildren, Roger Pollock, Jr, Jonathan Miller, Jr, Timothy Miller, Kaylah Miller, Carlyn Miller, Emanda Stodghill, J.J. Miller, Sean Miller, and Jamin Brown Miller; and eight great grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fellowship Sunday School Class and the choir. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer s Association, 106 SRP Drive, Ste A, Evans, GA 30809. The family will receive friends Monday, January 27, 2014, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
