TRAVIS L. WOOD
PRESQUE ISLE - Travis L. Wood, 12, died early Saturday morning, March 13, 2004, at Presque Isle, as a result of a snowmobile accident. He was born Oct. 18, 1991, at Fort Kent, the son of Lionel Caron and Debbie Wood. He was a former student of Eagle Lake Elementary School in Eagle Lake, and was currently a sixth grade student at Cunningham Middle School in Presque Isle. He attended Celebration Center in Fort Fairfield, and was active in the youth group. Travis enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, little league baseball, and card tournaments at Eagle Hill Stamp and Coin in Presque Isle. He is survived by his mother, Debbie Wood of Presque Isle; his father, Lionel Caron of Pennsylvania; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Gladys Wood of Winterville; his paternal grandmother, Antionette Caron of Caribou; two sisters, Tica Dionne of Eagle Lake, Tania Dionne of Fort Kent; Aunt Ronda Dionne of Winterville; two uncles, David Wood of Roxbury, Conn., Rodney Wood and his wife, Terry, of Winterville; two nieces, Melissa Dionne and Karissa Bard; several cousins; and two special friends, Paul Saija and Andy Corey. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Celebration Center Route 1A in Fort Fairfield, with the Rev. Mark Babin officiating. A memorial service will be held 7-8 p.m. Thursday at Mountainview Bible Church in Eagle Lake. Donations may be made in memory of Travis to the support of the family care of Debbie Wood, 55 Lombard St., Presque Isle, ME 04769.
