Ruth passed away peacefully on January 23, 2014.

She was born in Deerfield, Kansas on June 17, 1925.

She grew up in Colorado, where she met her husband, Dick, the love of her life for sixty-eight years. They had three children: Donna, Denny, and Susan.

The family time was always spent camping, fishing, and riding the horses. Mom loved to sew and quilt---and those trips to Wendover!

She was a member of the Cottonwood Presbyterian Church. She was a fun-loving person with a lot of friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (John); brother-in-law, Lou; her grandchildren; and two precious great-grandchildren. Also, we cannot forget her cat, Jerry. Ruth was preceded in death by Dick, Donna, and Denny.

Special thanks to Golden Living Taylorsville and Intermountain Hospice for all their love and care.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cottonwood Presbyterian Church, 1500 East Vine Street (6100 South), Murray. A viewing will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street (100 East), Murray.
