She was born in Pike county June 10, 1899, daughter of John W. and Hannah Chaney Conkright. She married Mr. Cooley in July of 1960. He survives with the following stepchildren: Glenna Baldwin and Delbert Cooley, both of Perry; Eva Reel, Detroit; and Lyndel Baker of Griggsville.
The following brothers and sisters survive, Mrs. Jesse (Hazel) Cobb of Urbana, Mrs. Myrtis Moore and Mrs. Mary Moore both of New Salem, John D. Conkright of Paducah, Ky.
Mrs. Cooley was a member of the New Salem United Methodist Church, 50-year member of the OES, Royal Neighbors and memeber of the board of Gray Cemetery Association.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Skinner Funeral Home with Rev. Joe T. Maynard of Pittsfield officiating. Interment will be in Gray cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
