Mr. Burnett was born on March 3, 1950 in White Co., GA. He is the son of the late Tom Berry Burnett & Anna Mae Dyer Burnett. He worked as a builder & was a member of the Zion Baptist Church in Suches, GA. Mr. Burnett also served for the US Army.
Survivors include: Wife: Donna Welch Burnett of the home Sons: Eric & Chris Burnett both of Cleveland, GA Levi & Heath Burnett both of Ellijay Daughter: Heather Burnett, Cleveland, GA Sisters: Barbara Jean Adams, Janice Holloway, Karen Burnett & Melissa Parks all of Suches, GA 5 Grandchildren also survive
Funeral services will be held Monday June 16, 2008 at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Evans & Rev. Keith Cook officiating. Interment will be in the Welch Family Cemetery with Military Rites by the North GA Honor Guard
