Lane Alan Andrews Sr., 59, died Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 22, 2014, at his home. He was born June 30, 1954, in Beverly, Kentucky, to Frankie and Erle I. Andrews and Leon Baker.

He married Ellen Maloney on Dec. 22, 1972, and she survives in Garrett.

Lane was a loving and supporting father, son, husband and friend. He was loved by those who knew him and treasured family and friends.

Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Ellen Andrews of Garrett; his four children and their spouses, Katrina (Joshua) Quigley of Atlanta, Georgia, Lane (Sheryce) Andrews Jr. of Tampa, Florida, Bruce Andrews of Garrett, and Angela (Antonio) Pasqualone of Garrett; six grandchildren, Londyn Andrews, Marlei Andrews, Grace Andrews, Brock Andrews, Seth Price and Milana Pasqualone; his mother, Frankie Andrews of Garrett; two sisters, Debra Baker Hall of Kendallville, and Diana Andrews of Fort Wayne; and a brother, Erle Andrews II of Kendallville.

He was preceded in death by his two fathers, Erle Andrews I and Leon Baker.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Pathway Community Church, 11910 Shearwater Run, Fort Wayne, with Pastor Phillip Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Christian Union Cemetery in rural Garrett.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Ellen Andrews.
