Mrs. Mary E. "Jackie" Nienaber, 85, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2004.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Nienaber was born on Nov. 22, 1918, in Greensboro to the late James Melvin Murphy Sr., and Mary Strader. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Louis J. Nienaber, two brothers, James M. Murphy Jr., and Gene G. Murphy.
Jackie was a lifetime member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Woodland Garden Club and a member of a local bridge club. Jackie really enjoyed playing golf, as well as gardening. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Patty Sue Murphy of Greensboro and Martha T. Murphy of Illinois; five nieces and nephews.
