BURNSVILLE - Hobert Blake, 99, of Burnsville, Braxton County, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at the home of his daughter, Ulah Frame of Buckhannon.
He was a retired miner and attended Little Kanawha Independent Church, near Burnsville.
Also surviving: wife, Bulah Riffle Blake; daughter, Marjorie Bleigh of Hubbard, Ohio; sons, Harvey and Earl, both of Akron, Ohio, Carl Ray of Burnsville; sisters, Bertha Fink of Akron, Lula Dean of Zanesville, Ohio; brother, Henry of Alabama; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Stockert-Gibson Funeral Home, Flatwoods with the Rev. Ronzel Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Cutlipsville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
