Jeanne E. Stummer, 83, of Westvale, NY passed away peacefully Monday, January 20, 2014. She retired from P&C Foods in 1992 after 17 years in the Retail and Accounting Department. Jeanne was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Arthur J. Stummer, and her infant son, Michael Stummer. Jeanne is survived by her children, Rod (Joan) Stummer of Chicago, IL, Rich (Rhonda) of Akron, OH, Dan (Wendy) of Aurora, OH, David (Linda) of Fulton, NY, Marge (Ron) Robbins of Otisco, NY, Tom (Ann) Stummer of Camillus, NY, Anne (Jim) Root of Geddes, NY and Katie Stummer of Westvale, NY. She is also survived by her brother, Bob Beedon of Loveland, OH; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, 10 a.m. at St Charles Borromeo Church, 417 S. Orchard Rd. Syracuse. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Contributions may be made in Jeanne's memory to St. Charles Food Pantry, 417 S. Orchard Rd., Syracuse, NY 13219.
