Spencer Clovis, 68, died Wednesday morning at 2:30 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Nellie Weber, 1249 Elm Street, from the effects of dropsy with which he had b been suffering for the past eight months.
He was the son of John Clovis and Sarah Husled. And the husband of Eldora Clovis.
Mr. Clovis came here from his home in Forest about three weeks ago, since which time he had been taking medical treatment. His condition was not considered serious until about a week ago, since which time he grew weaker until the end came.
The body was shipped to Craigmont yesterday afternoon.
He had resided at Forest for the past 20 Years.
