She served as a teacher at St. Phillip in Green Bay, Wis., Holy Rosary in Kewaunee, Wis., St. John the Baptist in Plymouth, Wis., St. Joseph in Waukesha, Wis., St. Mary in Bloomington, Wis., Catholic Central High School in Steubenville, Ohio, and St. Mary in Delaware, Ohio. She also ministered to the poor in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and served as associate director and program manager at Hebron House of Hospitality, Waukesha. Since 2002 she had been a resident of St. Rita Health Center at the Mother House.

Charity, age 69, of Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc, died Saturday, Oct.
29, 2005, at Holy Family Convent.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, at
Holy Family Convent Chapel. Rev Samuel D. Jadin O. Praem will officiate
at the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be at Holy Family Convent
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born Carolyn Borer on November 23, 1935, in Lindsay, Neb.,
daughter of the late John and Margaret (Warth) Borer. Sister Johnice
