Ann Lee Travis passed away in Santa Cruz on November 14, 2005. She was 84 years of age.Ann was a native of Santa Cruz, she was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, CARCH California Association of Residential Care Homes and the VFW. As well as the many organizations Ann was involved with, she always found her family to be her greatest achievement. With her love and kindness she inspired us all.Ann, who loved to cook, was always in the kitchen. When Mom put on a "spread" everyone was welcome. A strong lady with a Heart Of Gold, she will be greatly missed.Ann is survived by her daughter Judith Travis, sons Jeffrey Travis and his partner Robin Delorme and Richard Travis, daughter in-law Mary Travis, granddaughter Cynthia Lusk & her husband Dan Lusk, great-grandchildren Garrett & Russell, niece Shirley Sullivan, sisters Velma Chastain & Mae Rockerfeller and numerous nieces & nephews and many friends. Ann was preceded in death in 1975 by her husband Ernest.A private family service will be held. There will be a memorial service at a later date.Contributions may be made to City of Hope, 1055 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90017. All arrangements entrusted to the care of Santa Cruz Oakwood Memorial Chapel, 3301 Paul Sweet Rd., Santa Cruz, CA. Burial Unknown Specifically Santa Cruz.
