An Army veteran of World War II, he lived in the Eldon community most of his life. He owned and operated a service station and AAA wrecker service in Eldon for many years. He drove for Opie’s and Cargill for five years, prior to retirement. He was a member of Greenridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son, Gary M. “Mitch” Campbell, Florissant; one brother, Ray Campbell, Eldon; and two grandchildren.
