Marcus W. Hendricks, Jr., 71, of Hatfield, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014 in Genesis HealthCare Quakertown Center. He was the beloved husband of 44 years to the late Pauline B. (Bechtel) Hendricks who died in 2010.

Born in Lansdale, he was a son of the late Verna C. (Nace) and Marcus W. Hendricks, Sr.

He was employed as a detailer for the former J. L. Freed Honda/Cadillac/Pontiac in Lansdale for more than 50 years prior to his retirement in 2012.

Mr. Hendricks was a member of Family Worship Center in Lansdale, and also attended Souderton Mennonite Church along with his companion. He loved tractors, push lawn mowers, and was fondly known as "Mister Tinkerer." He enjoyed going to the Transport for Christ breakfast, and the Kempton and Jacktown antique tractor and small engine shows.

He was survived by two daughters: Jean Ann Lewis and her husband Craig of Perkasie, Betty Ann Smith and her husband George of Millhall, PA, three grandchildren: Alicia, Nicole, Matthew, a brother, Ken Hendricks and his wife Charlotte of Coopersburg, and his companion, Gladys Alderfer. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elizabeth.

Memorial Services were held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, Telford. Interment was in the Indian Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Harleysville.
