Graveside services for Ola Elizabeth Swafford Wallace were held November 19 in Sanford, Florida at Evergreen Cemetery with Gramkow Funeral Home of Sanford in charge.
Mrs. Wallace died Thursday, November 17, 1966 at Seminole Memorial Hospital in Sanford.
Survivors include her son, Norris Etheridge Jordan and his wife Ruby, of Sanford; two granddaughters, Sheila and Leilani Jordan, both of Sanford; her step-children who are also her nieces and nephews, Earl Wallace (Joy), Rupert "Buck" Wallace (Glenna), Barbara Wallace White (Kenneth), all of Piedmont, and Margaret Wallace Armstrong (Henry) of Rock Hill, SC; sisters, Hattie Swafford Christian of Piedmont, Nellie Swafford Cobb, Louada Swafford Crook, Donnie Delorice Swafford Eubanks, and Mary Swafford Potts of Georgia; brothers, Dewey M. Swafford and Luther Swafford; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wallace was born and raised in Piedmont, Alabama. She was married to Willis Ethridge Jordan and Angrum Coker prior to her marriage to Claude Wallace. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Houston Wallace; parents, Thomas Asberry Swafford and Donie Elizabeth Driskell Swafford; sisters, Bertha Swafford Downey, and Florence Swafford Wallace; and a step-son/nephew, Cecil Houston Wallace.
