Sally J. Larison age 56. of Independence, passed away Thursday, September 18, 1986, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on December 21, 1929 at Warsaw, the daughter of James R. and Emma Salley Ashinhurst.

She grew up in Warsaw and moved to Independence in 1942. She attended the University of Kansas City and was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority auxiliary.

In 1951 she was united in marriage to Ed Larison at Kansas. Following their marriage they made their home in the Kansas City area where unto this union 2 daughters were born.

She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, past president of the General Federated Women's Club's Nu-Era Study Club of Independence, a member of the Independence Young Matrons Association and Job's Daughters.

She is survived by her husband, Ed, of the home; 2 daughters, Mrs. C. L. A. of Blue Springs, Missouri and Mrs. K. L. D. of Kansas; her mother, Mrs. Emma Ashinhurst of Kansas City and 3 grandsons, Jason, Jeremy and Joshua Arens, all of Blue Springs, Missouri.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 21, 1986 at the Speaks Chapel in Independence, Missouri. Graveside services were held Monday, September 22, 1986 at 11:00 A.M. at the Shawnee Cemetery, Warsaw, with the Rev. Asher McDaniel officiating, under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw.
