Pauline Winebarger Bryan, age 83, of 211 Milton Brown Heirs Road, Boone, died January 23, 2014, at Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation in Boone.
She was born April 4, 1930, in Watauga County. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. In her earlier years, she worked at the Dime Store in Boone and Trailway Dry Cleaners in Boone.
Pauline is survived by a son, Daniel Bryan and daughter, Janice Baxter, and husband Tim Baxter, all of Boone. She is also survived by a sister, Mary Lee Proffit, a number of nieces and nephews, and her Glenbridge family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Bryan.
Funeral services were held at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Eugene Braswell and Reverend Allan Perry. Burial in Proffit's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
