Mrs. Hafemann was born in Oshkosh, June 5, 1884, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Beyer. She lived in this city most of her life. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed church and the Ladies Aid society as well as the Women's Benefit association and the ladies auxiliary of the Eagles club.
On March 27, 1905, she married William Hafemann who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Fred Bartelt, Green Bay; two sons. Harold, Oshkosh, and Cpl. Willard Hafemann, San Diego, Calif.; three grandchildren. Jack Hafemann, Oshkosh, and Tom and Peter Bartelt, Green Bay; a sister, Mrs. A. H. Mehlman, Oshkosh, and a brother, William Beyer, Oshkosh.
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed church. The Rev. Theodore Irion will officiate. Interment will be in Peace Lutheran cemetery. Friends may call at the Konrad funeral home Sunday afternoon after 4 o'clock and up to Monday noon when the remains will be taken to the church to lie in state from 1 o'clock until the hour of service.
