Michael Guess, Jr., affectionately known as Lil' Mike died on November 16, 2011. He was 23 years old. Michael, Jr. was the son of Yolanda and Michael Guess, Sr. At church, he sang in the Youth Choir and was active in the youth department. He was educated in the Kansas City, Kansas public schools. He graduated from F. L. Schlagle High School in 2006. As a youth he played for the Red Sox's little league baseball team in the Kansas City, Kansas Metropolitan area. Michael was employed at Chas Balls and Stanley Cleaners until his health failed. Michael's passion was watching his favorite football team (The Kansas City Chiefs), basketball and The Young and The Restless. He also enjoyed spending time with his family especially his twin brother. They were inseparable. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wendell and Gloria Searcy and Dickie Guess, Sr.; two aunts, Bobbie Lavendar and Glenda White and one uncle, Reginal Guess. He is survived by his parents, his twin brother, one niece, paternal grandmother, godparents and many other family and friends.
