Chapman, Barbara "BB", 68, of Chester, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2014.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Richard Chapman; daughters, Sheila (Steve) Walters and Kimberly (Paul) Pendergrass; sons, Richard (Amanda) Chapman and Joshua (Mary) Chapman; and grandchildren, Kyle, Andrea, Hailey, Jake, Charlotte, Adeena, Chris, Keenan and Emmy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Elva Worsham; and brother, Willy Worsham.

Barbara retired in 2002 from Circuit City after many years of service as Director of Store Technical Services. Among her many involvements, she was Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Christmas Mother for 2007, served on the Chesterfield County Police Foundation, Chesterfield County Crime Solver's Board and CASA. Of all her involvements, the Christmas Mother program was her first love, including her tireless fundraising efforts. Barbara also started and owned O! So Chic with her daughters.

The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Beulah Methodist Church, 6930 Hopkins Rd., North Chesterfield, 23234. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
